Home Delivered Meal Program
Nutritious noon meals delivered to homebound individuals.
ADVOCAP's Home Delivered Meal Program helps provide elderly and disabled individuals with appetizing, nutritious, noon-time meals. This promotes health and combats food insecurity and isolation.
ELIGIBILITY: Those who wish to participate in the Home Delivered Meals Program must meet the requirements listed below. If you have any questions regarding the requirements, please contact the Neenah office; 920-725-2791
Home Delivered Meals Program participation requirements:
- Must live in Winnebago County.
- Must be 60 years of age or older who is frail and essentially homebound by reason of illness, disability, or isolation.
- Are unable to participate in congregate meals program because of physical or emotional limitations.
- Are an underage, disabled individual who resides in elderly or disabled housing where meals are provided.
- Are the spouse or domestic partner of a person eligible for HDM and his/her participation is in the best interest of the homebound older individual.
- Are an underage, disabled individual who resides at home with an eligible older individual participating in the program.

Congregate Meals Program
Nutritious noon meals served in a congregate setting at one of our meal sites.
Serving senior participants and some disabled individuals with appetizing, nutritious noon-time meals 5 days a week at our 11 meal sites throughout Winnebago County. This promotes health, and combats food insecurity and helps seniors remain independent. Our cafeteria setting also creates opportunities for social interactions and helps combat social isolation.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
Providing supplemental food to local pantries, shelters, and meal sites.
ADVOCAP administers the distribution of food commodities to 12 food pantries, 6 shelters, and meal sites. The food is then given to persons and families at no cost to households in need. TEFAP provides a variety of canned vegetables, fruit, pasta, frozen food, and meat. This supplemental food provides groceries for a period of 3-5 days.
ELIGIBILITY: Households at 185% of poverty level including the elderly and homeless. If you have any questions regarding eligibility, please contact the Neenah office; 920-725-2791.

Community Gardens
Providing families with fresh produce.
The community gardens provide garden plots to families who want to grow their own produce. Over 95 families are able to supplement their meals with fresh wholesome food that they have grown from the community garden. For a small fee anyone can invest in their own garden plot.
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone is able to participate as long as plots are available.
