Down Payment Assistance Program
Helping our low-income population purchase homes.
The Down Payment Assistance Programs helps eligible homebuyers purchase affordable homes by providing a deferred loan that can be used as down payment.
ELIGIBILITY: Those interested in participating in the Down Payment Assistance Program must meet the income eligibility limit of 80% of county median income.

Application Process for Down Payment Assistance:
- Program applicants must first obtain a pre-approval letter from a local lender.
- Each applicant will also need to complete a homeowner education course.
- A program application will need to be completed along with income documentation to determine eligibility.

Foreclosure Prevention Program
Helping homeowners prevent foreclosure.
The Foreclosure Prevention Program can provide a deferred loan to be used as payment on behalf of homeowner to prevent foreclosure. Costs may include payments to cover mortgage, property tax, principal, or interest.
ELIGIBILITY: Those interested in participating in the Foreclosure Prevention Program must meet the income eligibility limit of 80% of county median income.

Application Process for Foreclosure Prevention Program:
- Applicants will first make a plan and financial arrangements with lender or municipality to avoid foreclosure.
- A program application, income documentation, and financial statements will need to be submitted to determine eligibility

Homeowner Rehabilitation Program
Helping homeowners improve the health and safety of their home.
The Homeowner Rehabilitation Program can assist low-income homeowners to rehab their home by providing a deferred loan. Rehabilitation assistance can be used to make essential improvements.
ELIGIBILITY: Those interested in participating in the Homeowner Rehabilitation Program must meet the income eligibility limit of 80% of county median income.
Application Process for the Homeowner Rehabilitation Program:
- Applicants need to first submit a program wait list application to determine priority of service.
- A program application, income documentation, and financial statements will need to be submitted to determine eligibility.
- A home evaluation will need to be conducted to determine allowable services.
