This year, ADVOCAP marks 60 years of supporting our community — an important milestone for our organization and a moment to reflect on our role within a nationwide Community Action network. Community Action Agencies work in communities across the country, and for six decades, ADVOCAP has been part of that effort here at home.
For ADVOCAP, this year is a chance to pause and recognize the people and the communities that have shaped our work since 1966. To begin this anniversary year, we’re excited to unveil our 60th anniversary logo, selected by ADVOCAP staff. This logo will be used throughout 2026 as a simple way to mark this milestone and recognize the people behind the work.
Rather than limiting this anniversary to a single event or moment, we’ll be recognizing our 60th throughout the year. In the months ahead, we’ll be sharing reflections on our beginnings and highlighting our presence in the community today. Later in the year, we look forward to hosting three community gatherings — one in each of the counties where we work — as opportunities to connect and mark this year together. Details about these gatherings will be shared as plans are finalized.
This anniversary is about recognizing the community that has been part of ADVOCAP for six decades. As Community Action Agencies across the country continue their work, we’re glad to mark this year alongside our neighbors in Fond du Lac, Green Lake, and Winnebago counties.
