On January 16, the Basic Needs Giving Partnership and U.S. Venture Open announced the awards of new grants of $2.50 million to end poverty. ADVOCAP is a recipient of $50,000 for the Head Start program. This one-year grant will further support the program in providing holistic support to young children and their families, focusing on education, health, and family wellbeing.
“This grant is an investment in the future of our community,” says Tanya Marcoe, ADVOCAP Executive Director. “With this support, we can provide even more children and families with the tools they need to thrive.”
The Basic Needs Giving Partnership, with funds raised through the annual U.S. Venture Open, helps nonprofits like ADVOCAP provide critical services and build thriving communities. ADVOCAP is grateful to the Basic Needs Giving Partnership, U.S. Venture Open, and donors — individuals, foundations, and corporations — for their generosity and commitment to addressing the root causes of poverty.
