ADVOCAP is proud to share a new partnership with Forward Service Corporation that will expand access to employment, education, and support services for residents of Green Lake County.
Through this collaboration, Forward Service Corporation staff will now be co-located at ADVOCAP’s Berlin office on Tuesdays, creating a shared space where individuals and families can more easily connect with the resources they need. By bringing services together under one roof, the partnership is designed to reduce barriers, improve coordination, and strengthen support for those working toward self-sufficiency.
A more connected approach to community supports
In Green Lake County, ADVOCAP provides services focused on building long-term stability, including housing and homelessness assistance, preschool and adult education, workforce opportunities, small business development, local food pantries, and volunteer engagement.
Forward Service Corporation supports stability by helping individuals prepare for and secure employment through career planning, job training, education opportunities, and supportive services that address barriers such as transportation, housing, and other needs.
Together, these organizations are creating a more seamless experience for residents, making it easier to access both employment services and essential supports in one location.
Strengthening access in Green Lake County
ADVOCAP and Forward Service Corporation are aligned in a commitment to helping those in their communities access resources, employment, and opportunities that support stable, self-sufficient lives. By offering services from the same location, the partnership will improve coordination between organizations, reduce barriers for residents seeking services, and help ensure individuals can more easily access employment and community supports.
“This partnership helps give families a single place to access the resources that can help them move forward,” said Becky Heldt, ADVOCAP’s Homeless Prevention Director. “By working together in the same location, we can connect residents to employment opportunities, housing supports, and other services more effectively—reducing barriers and helping them work toward stability.”
Forward Service Corporation CEO Michelle Szabrowicz echoed this sentiment, noting the strength of the collaboration and its impact on the community.
“Forward Service is excited to continue having a presence in the ADVOCAP office in Berlin. We have a lot of respect for ADVOCAP and are proud of the work we are doing together to increase our collective impact in the Green Lake community,” she said.
