Skills Enhancement Program
Financial assistance for skills-based education & training
The Skills Enhancement Program helps adults gain the education and training needed to advance in their careers and pursue new employment opportunities. Through this program, eligible participants can access training in high-demand fields such as business, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, welding, and childcare.
ADVOCAP provides support to help reduce barriers to education and training, including assistance with tuition, books, required supplies, and childcare expenses while attending classes.
Eligibility & Application Process
The Skills Enhancement Program is available to adults who are currently working at least 20 hours per week and meet income eligibility requirements.
To apply, contact ADVOCAP to find out if you qualify and request an application. Once your application is completed, a staff member will meet with you to discuss available training options and next steps.

Supporting adults 18 and older in Fond du Lac and Winnebago Counties with GED/HSED classes and test preparation, ADVOCAP offers flexible, accessible resources to help you succeed, at no cost. We connect you with training locations, offer one-on-one assistance, and provide tools to help you build confidence and skills.
