ADVOCAP is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Community Service Awards. Each year, these awards recognize outstanding community partners who go above and beyond in supporting ADVOCAP’s mission to create opportunities and increase self-sufficiency across Fond du Lac, Green Lake, and Winnebago counties. The recipients were recently honored during ADVOCAP’s annual celebration and awards presentation.
Brooke Industries, Inc. (Fond du Lac County)
Brooke Industries, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit manufacturing and rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities achieve their highest level of personal and vocational functioning. Through vocational rehabilitation, supported employment services, life skills training, and individualized support, they empower community members to build confidence, independence, and pathways to long-term employment.
In addition to their employment-focused services, Brooke Industries partners with ADVOCAP by storing TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food commodities each month for 5 local pantries and 6 shelters throughout the county. This support plays a critical role in strengthening the local emergency food network and ensuring community members have access to essential resources.
Their commitment to creating opportunity, building confidence, and supporting community well-being makes Brooke Industries an invaluable partner to ADVOCAP and the families we serve.
Bridging Brighter Smiles (Green Lake County)
Bridging Brighter Smiles is being recognized for their impact in improving access to dental care for ADVOCAP Head Start children in Green Lake and Fond du Lac counties. Through their partnership with our Head Start program, they provide no-cost, on-site dental services directly to children in a familiar and supportive environment.
Their services include preventive screenings, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and follow-up care planning, helping address dental concerns before they become more serious health issues. By removing barriers such as cost and transportation, Bridging Brighter Smiles ensures children receive critical care that supports both their physical health and academic performance.
Their work not only improves oral health outcomes but also helps reduce stress for families and creates healthier starts for children across the community.
Neuhaus Automotive (Winnebago County)
Neuhaus Automotive has become a trusted community partner by helping individuals and families overcome one of the biggest barriers to employment and stability: reliable transportation. Through honest diagnostics, fair pricing, and dependable repair services, Neuhaus Automotive helps ADVOCAP participants stay connected to work, school, medical appointments, and other essential daily needs.
As a partner in programs like ADVOCAP Work N Wheels, Neuhaus Automotive also helps expand access to affordable vehicles, giving families transportation options that might otherwise be out of reach. Their compassionate, transparent approach helps customers feel respected and supported during stressful financial situations.
